My Review on Citrus Clear Spot Treatment

December 12, 2013

I have been given the opportunity to review the new beauty product Citrus Clear spot treatment. It has all natural ingredients recommended for oily, sensitive, or problematic skin.
I only have very oily skin, and sometimes I get small pimples. So finding a product that helps fight pimples and blemishes for my type of skin is quite difficult. Most store brand products made for oily skin strips my skin completely leaving my skin feeling over dry and often causes peeling. This product doesn't cause this. You only apply the product to specific problem areas. I've notice subtle changes immediately. Blemishes were lightened and pimples gone immediately. I have only been using this product for over a week. The product also has a nice clean citrus spell. The only problem I have with this product is the tube squeezes out too much of the liquid ointment with only a slight squeeze on the tube causing me to waste much of the product. It's a bit messy at times. You have to be very cautious to how you SQUeeeeze. Otherwise, I highly recommend Citrus Clear for people with my type of skin problems. I will continue to use this product. Hopefully they will make a better solution on the sensitive tube squeezing situation. LoL

Shopsins

March 21, 2013
This place is truly a hidden treasure for sure and the food is unique and scrumptious.
While searching for something new to eat breakfast, I came across Shopsins in my search on the web as one of the 5 top places to eat breakfast. My curiosity got the best of me. So I took a look at some of the reviews on Yelp. The reviews had me intrigued and a bit nervous to go, but I had to experience what everyone was writing about for myself. This place was compared to "The Soup Nazi". You can easi...

Apotheke

March 16, 2013
This speakeasy place is has a very cool ambiance and great unique decor. Starface and I visited this spot last night after a full day of shopping and walking all over the city. We had a hard time finding this location in China Town and none of the Asians in the neighborhood knew where the street was, or they just didn't want to talk to us non Asian gals. I'm sure they would of had many answers for me if I asked them about a fake Gucci bag or Rolex watch. Finally a traffic cop helped us. S...

Love and Hip-Hop (desperate to be famous) Erica Mena

January 24, 2012

Love and Hip-Hop (desperate to be famous) Erica Mena, who’s sketchy past makes headlines. Following her fight with Kimbella weeks ago, which she totally instigated, Erica claimed VH1 depicted her in a way that was not classy and detrimental to her “modeling” career. However, it turns out Erica’s reputation was already tainted way before VH1 came. A book written by rapper Prodigy, "My Infamous Life" – one of the members of Mobb Deep alleges that back in the day Erica used to ...

Fashion trend-setters can never start too early!

January 5, 2012

Who says 6 year old girls doesn't have a sense of fashion??  Our niece, Amari Twitty proves those believers wrong. O yes, she is just not a cutie pie, she is a fashion trendsetter in the making.  She actually put a huge amount of thought into what she wears and how she is going to rock it. The green fuzzy balls that dangles from one of her socks is shear genius. It's brilliant because it doesn't colorfully matches her outfit but it still somehow works. That's what I love about this mast...

Madiba Restaurant. Eh....Food Not All That.

December 28, 2011

Madiba is the first South African restaurant in United States which pays homage to Nelson Mandela. The ambiance at this place has a lot of culture which made me feel like I was at a brief getaway in South Africa. I been there twice, the first visit was at least 4 years ago.  Honestly I couldn't remember if I enjoyed the food but if I can't remember, then I'm assuming that it was just OK.  My sister scored a great deal on Groupon for Madiba. For $39 you get 1appetizer, 2 entree and 2 gl...

December 22, 2011

So, I am a huge fan of the website called Groupon that offers huge discounts to restaurants, trips, spa treatments, electronics, etc in whatever city you live or may visit. I am a frequent user of the restaurant deals.

On Groupon, I purchased a dinner for two at Alma 33 an Argentina Cuisine located on West 8th street in Manhattan. The special offer consisted on 5 Tapa plates, 1 bottle of wine or a pitcher of Sangria, and 2 desserts. All for $39.  Great deal? You’d...
